NewsGator launches a new version of its enterprise collaboration and social computing software with a focus on innovation management. ‘Social Sites Ideas’ is a system “for identifying, evaluating and advancing” ideas within a company, which is instrumental in product development, business process improvements, green business strategies, and more. Social Sites 2.7 social business software, which works on top of Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007, also offers in this release activity streams via email, social network graphing, new community features, and an RSS reader.
