Whitewater Ski Resort
The WH2O website would receive a lot of traffic in the winter months, but visitors were having a hard time navigating the site and Whitewater was not able capitalize on the traffic they were receiving. We worked closely with the marketing team at Whitewater to create a feature rich website, that lays the foundation for future growth and development.
The new Whitewater website is now fully responsive and jam packed with features such as an e-commerce storefront, interactive maps, automated snow report mail-outs, live webcam feeds, SEO ready, consortium member directory, social media streams, multi-blogger capabilities and more.

University of Guelph
Collabo designed and created the FARE (Food Agricultural and Resource Economics) as well as the Plant Agriculture, Guelph Turf Grass and Smart Soils websites for the University of Guelph. These customized websites have allowed the administration departments to update their own websites at their leisure.
The FARE & Plant Ag sites are complete with a login portal for Professors to update their individual profiles, as well as upload their own course outlines and research topics. Students are also given a login and password which allows them to update their profiles.
As a large educational institute, the University of Guelph websites have to conform to strict standards and compliance (WCAG 2.1 AA Accessibility). Collabo has been and continues to provide consulting services for the University of Guelph on an on-going basis since 2006.

Collabo worked with Nelson Kootenay Lake Tourism for 8 years. During this time, we developed several responsive websites using the Wordpress and Drupal frameworks, driving tremendous growth in their online reach and numbers.

Kootenay Association Of Science & Technology
For over 20 years the Kootenay Association for Science & Technology has been the only non-profit organization dedicated to advancing technology adoption and training in our region. When KAST approached Collabo, their website looked as old as their organization.
Collabo successfully migrated the many years of content from the old website to a new and highly improved, responsive website that works on all devices. Collabo cleaned up broken links, developed user persona’s and organized the site structure to make all of their buried information easier to find and navigate.

Major Appliance Recycling Roundtable
Collabo developed and deployed a fully responsive website in Drupal for the launch of the Major Appliance Recycling Program in British Columbia. The MARRBC.ca website helps both participants and consumers of the program to obtain more information on what items can be recycled and how the materials should be handled.
Collabo created a customized, interactive map using the Google Maps API, to allow users to find the closest recycling facility to their current location.
Collabo not only developed a depot locator for MARRBC.ca, but also for ProductCare.org and its programs: ElectroRecycle, CESA Recycling, OPEIC, Paint Recycling, Light Recycle and more.

The Slocan Valley
Collabo was hired to help design and develop a modern website which helps to reflect the diversity of the valley. The homepage works by funneling the visitor through the proper channel to provide relevant resources for each of the three identified user groups (locals, businesses & visitors).
There is an interactive directory where local businesses get the opportunity to add their business to the website, with full access to update and manage their listing at any time. For many businesses in the Slocan Valley, this is their only online presence. As this website continues to grow and gain exposure, we hope to implement more advanced features and community rich engagement tools.

All members of Collabo work remotely and have chosen to work out in the beautiful Kootenay region. Part of what makes this region so incredible is the untouched wilderness in our backyards. Valhalla Wilderness Society is committed to protecting the wild at all costs.
Out of appreciation for the work done by the VWS, Collabo donated their time to migrate their old, difficult to manage and non-responsive website to a brand new Wordpress site they can now administer with ease.
A Moneris donation system which allows for one-time or on-going donations has also been integrated into the website with the help of local hosting providers Secure by Design.
